About Mario

Currently, I am a Louisville Colorado Realtor and my RE/MAX office is in Louisville.  I help my customers as a Realtor in Louisville, Boulder, Lafayette, Superior, Broomfield, Longmont, Erie, and Niwot.

Originally from the Washingto D.C. area--I was born in D.C. and lived in Fairfax County my early years.  I have lived in Boulder and Louisville since 1977.  I went to Fairview High School and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  I love living in Colorado and hope to stay in this area forever.  Currently, my wife, two daughters and I live in Louisville.

I sold software for many years in the high-tech world.  And once the run up to Y2K was over I started seeing the budgets tighten for software acquisition.  I decided it was time for a change and moved into the world of Corportate Housing, Relocation and Rentals in 2000.  In 2002, I got my Real Estate License and joined Re/Max in 2003.  I truly enjoy being a Realtor since I add value to my Clients with my many years of sales experience and good product knowledge since I have lived here since 1977.

My style is such that I never push property on my Clients because I will not be the person living in the house.  I will present the positive and negative aspects of each property we view.  I commit to you my time and expertise in finding your new home by showing you all of the available properties that meet your wants and needs.  And I have the patience to wait until you find the house you want to buy. I feel I make a difference for my Clients with my high level of service and selling style.  I have expertise in helping Relocation Buyers and First Time Buyers. Many times I have taken Buyers around the area when they are considering a Louisville Colorado Relocation and/or a Boulder Relocation and then we go around to multiple cities like Longmont, Erie, Lafayette, Superior and Broomfield.  Recently, I had a couple come in on a house hunting weekend and we toured homes in Longmont, Erie, Frederick, Firestone, Windsor and Loveland all in one weekend and they chose the their new home in Loveland.

"We did a lot of coordinating with Mario as he built our home tour prior to our trip from Ilinois to Colorado. On the first day we viewed 12 homes for sale in Longmont, Colorado, none of which met our needs. However, Mario was able to redefine the parameters of our home search to better suit our needs. On the second day we found two homes for sale that we really liked. Having gained a good sense of the Longmont area and the real estate market we were ready to make an offer on one of the homes we toured and the very next day we were under contract. Because we were only here for a few days house-hunting, Mario attended the Inspection Review on our behalf and we coordinated the inspection items via phone and email. He also did the walk-through of the property prior to closing and sent us plenty of pictures reassuring us of the condition of the house. "We were a little apprehensive about buying our first home. Luckily, we met Mario and immediately felt comfortable with his relaxed, informed approach to purchasing a house. As first-time buyers, Mario was expert in educating us on the basics of purchasing a house. Very early in our search we decided to look specifically within the Fireside Elementary School district in Louisville. This area is in high demand, with most houses going under contract within a few days of hitting the market. This is where we appreciated Mario’s expertise the most – Mario patiently showed us houses for over three months as he kept on top of the market, notifying us of new houses within hours of them being listed. He was very familiar with the area and encouraged us to wait for the right home. We never felt pressured into making a decision on a house and always thought Mario had our best interests in mind. When we believed we had found the right house, Mario was very helpful throughout the process of writing the contract and even met with us during the home inspection, explaining the process to us as it unfolded. We are grateful that Mario was involved, as he was able to inform us of some significant issues we faced on the house we had made an offer on. We were disappointed that the house fell out of contract, but Mario knew we would find another house we would like. We closed on the house (that we liked better than the first one!) without incident and we have been very happy in our new home.
